Yes, we finally got there! After many delays, trials and tribulations we have officially launched and online ordering is now available from a selection of Teesside takeaways. We have got 15 takeaways on board at the moment and we are spending the next few days overseeing any orders to ensure the process runs smoothly. Once we are happy then we will hand over to the automated system and then we can concentrate on pitching our service to as many local takeaways and restaurants as we can to give our customers even more choice.

If you have any comments on the site why not post something in the Website Feedback section of our Forum (www.borotakeaways.com/forum) - we would love to hear your thoughts (good or bad) as it all helps us to develop the website system further so that our customers continue to get the best online ordering experience. Either that or post a comment on our Facebook/Twitter sites.

One of the website features we are most proud of will be the option for our customers to help out two local charities. Whenever you order a takeaway meal, you will have the option of adding a small donation that will contribute towards either of our chosen charities.





We will also be looking to work alongside these charities, helping spread awareness of their activities and helping out with events and sponsorship when we are able. See Who We Support for more information.

After many unforeseen delays, we can now officially announce a date when online ordering will be live on Borotakeaways.com. From Monday 9th August 2010 you will be able to order online from select local takeaways/restaurants and also pay by credit or debit card  (or cash on delivery if you prefer).

As well as spending the next four weeks finalising the site we will be approaching local takeaways and restaurants in order to have a good selection on board in time for launch. We have invested in 30 remote printers and have therefore decided to waive our setup fee for the first 30 that sign up - which we hope will entice them on board.
